I love this book! I would LOVE to have a copy for my family (and me!) Several years ago I checked it out from the library and was so inspired…I wanted to look at it again recently and realized that it is not at our current local library since our move. We are slowly incorporating more observation and sketching into our science lessons. A robin built a nest just outside our front door, and we are enthralled to see the mama bringing her four babies their meals. I have downloaded Guide to Tree Sketching…beautiful and oh-so helpful. Incorporating new ideas (as someone who has little skill at drawing in a family of artists!) can be stretching…and so rewarding! Thank you for your website. I’m enjoying the posts and gleaning from the resources.
The knit hat pattern looks great! I just love to knit, read, draw and today, we hiked! 🙂

I think my favourite is the free Jane Austen audio books- great listening! But I’ll probably also make use of Soule Mama’s pattern.
I have looked at this book in the past and thought it was a lovely idea .
I love to crochet, and I love the patterns found on Lion Brand: http://cache.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/patternList.fcgi?tXX=1&s=Crochet&l=1
I also love the patterns found on Benat: http://www.bernat.com/pattern.php
I have made some many nice things with these. Both sites have knitting patterns as well.

Love, love, LOVE the links to audiobooks. I had no idea! Thanks for a great giveaway!

I love having a journal that is pretty where I can record my thoughts, prayers, and thanksgiving in. I also have to read a Jane Austen book at least once a year.
Here’s where I keep all of my links…you’ll find what we use for all of our subjects.
