One of my favourite resources for mother culture would be Amanda Jean’s blog: http://www.crazymomquilts.blogspot.com I have found lots of inspiration there for my latest hobby, quiltmaking.
All of your blogs are inspiring too. I find just learning along with my children is “mother culture” to me.
I just took a free beginner’s knitting class at a local library to do something special (“mother culture”) for me, but also to be able to teach my children how to knit. The instructor shared the same Very Pink Knitting Lessons website listed above & also a DVD titled, I Can’t Believe I’m Knitting! by Leisure Arts (I did get to watch some of it during the free class & really liked it). I’ve also signed up to take a beginner’s crocheting class at the library…..it took CM to finally encourage me to do something for myself ~yah!! 🙂
Thank you for offering this!!
